Coverking designs
car cover materials in-house and contracts production of the
fabric to the world's leading textile mills. Coverking
refuses to use "off the shelf" fabrics - such materials
rarely meet the unique and demanding needs of a car cover
material. Following are detailed pictures, information and
ratings of Coverking Custom Car Cover fabrics.

| Material Properties
Legend |
Coverking has a wide
selection of materials, each selected to meet a particular
cover need and budget. Below are the 6 criteria used for
Custom Car Cover Materials, and an explanation of each.

Water Resistance
is a relative grade of how much water will penetrate the
fabric. A "5" signifies the most water resistant material.
WATERPROOF materials will not breathe, trapping moisture.
All Coverking materials are water resistant, not waterproof. |

The Sun's UV Rays
damage a vehicle's interior, finish, and also the car cover
material. Materials with a "5" rating are most likely not to
degrade under extreme sun conditions. |

Breathability
describes how much moisture vapor trapped under the vehicle
can escape through the cover. If a material is not
breathable, it will trap moisture and cause rust. A "5"
signifies the most breathable material. |

Natural and Man-Made
Hazards, such as bird droppings, tree droppings and
industrial fall out are very acidic, and can eat through a
car's finish. A score of "5" identifies the material most
resistant to these dangerous chemicals. |

Compactness
measures how easily the material is to pack, and how small
the final packed cover is. A score of "5" identifies the
most compact cover. This is an important attribute if you
will use your cover often. |

All Coverking
materials are designed not to scratch a vehicle's finish
(assuming the vehicle is clean when the cover is installed.
However, some materials are softer than others. A "5" rating
is the softest. |
| Satin Stretch ™
Custom Car Cover |
 |
Satin Stretch™ is an indoor
Custom Car Cover fabric. It will fade if exposed to extended
sun, and is not water resistant.
Satin Stretch™ is the
SOFTEST fabric available, and has Lycra yarns to hug every
contour of a vehicle. Blind stitching results in invisible
seams - this is a SEXY car cover! |
Triguard™ |
 |
A 3 layer Custom Car Cover
material suited for light weather conditions (perfect for
occasional use or vehicles stored under a carport). Triguard™
is fairly soft and very compact. Do not use Triguard™ in
harsh weather or sun. Triguard™ is also not suited in areas
with industrial fall out (acid rain). |
Coverbond 4™

4 layers make Coverbond 4™
a very thick and bulky Custom Car Cover. It is not suggested
for daily users, or for people with large SUVs. However, the
extra bulk helps to guard against minor nicks and dings, and
even helps in light hail. Coverbond 4™ is suggested for
moderate weather or indoor use. |

Mosom Plus™ |
 |
Mosom Plus™ is a four layer
material. The outer two layers are Spunbond Polypropylene, the
middle layer is a special micro-porus film and the inside layer
is super-soft fabric. The middle layer is an excellent rain
barrier, while allowing for vapors to pass through. The
special cotton flock inner layer pampers the most delicate paint
finish. It is a great choice for all-around car cover use,
suggested for most conditions except extreme sun, snow or ice.
Mosom Plus™ is a non-woven material, so in the unlikely event a
rip occurs in the materlial, it will not run. As with all
Coverking Custom Car Covers, Mosom Plus™ Covers can be custom
made in just 2 days! |
Silverguard™ |
 |
Similar in properties
to Mosom Plus™, but with more sun resistance, slightly
less breathability and no soft inner liner. Silverguard
is a 300 denier polyester woven Custom Car Cover fabric
with a unique encapsulative coating. It is perfect for
general use, even in very sunny climates. The silver
coating helps to reflect sunlight. |
Silverguard Plus™ |
 |
Silverguard
Plus™ is a 300 Denier polyester material with a
reflective, water resistant coating on the outer
layer and a soft, non-abrasive layer on the
inside. It is a great choice for all-around car
cover use, suggested for most conditions except
extreme rain, snow or ice. 300 denier is a
strong, heavy weave, which will not rip or tear
easily. The silver coating on Silverguard
Plus™does an excellent job of reflecting
sunlight, while keeping rain and animal
droppings from damaging the vehicle finish. The
special soft inner layer pampers the most
delicate paint finish. |

Stormproof™ |
 |
Coverking was
overwhelmed after receiving test results of our
latest design - Stormproof. The culmination of
over a decade of material engineering, it has
only recently been possible to manufacture the
microscopic yarns which go into this advanced
micro-fiber Custom Car Cover material. Only one
textile mill in the world was able to meet
Coverking's specifications - and although
challenged by Coverking's design, the results
are truly a triumph for car cover users!
Stormproof is UNCOATED and
UNTREATED this means that even
after months or years of use, it will have the
same properties! Stormproof feels more like an
expensive golf jacket, yet is tested to be the
MOST WATER RESISTANT and (because there are no
coatings) the MOST BREATHABLE. You can't go
wrong with Stormproof - available in gray,
black, red, wine, and two tone combinations with
black sides. |

Armor™ |

Revolutionary new material
takes the stretch of Coverking Satin Stretch™
custom covers, and combines it with all weather
protection. A middle layer of Thermoplastic
Polyurethane (TPU) provides your vehicle with
the best water resistance available from a
Custom Car Cover today. Two outer layers of
woven polyester reinforce and protect the inner
layer while allowing extreme breathability.

great way to prevent cover theft. All Coverking motorcycle and vehicle
covers include reinforced grommets on the sides for the cable to slide
through. The lock is made of brass and includes two keys.
