Finish jobs faster with LoadHandler®. Padded brackets and tie down straps secure the Loadhandler® to any tailgate—installs or removes in about a minute. The LoadHandler® consists of a heavy gauge poly fabric rolled onto a steel bar that runs the length of the tailgate. To load, just unroll the drag sheet to cover your truck bed. To unload, lower the tailgate, insert the crank handle into the end of the roller bar and rewind the drag sheet.

NOTE: Loadhandler units have adjustable brackets that belt onto the tops of tailgates, so it is the width of the tailgate (left to right, or Driver Side to Passenger Side) that is important in determining which Loadhandler models will fit your truck.

Bed length and type of cab are not important in determining which Loadhandler model to purchase.

Full-Size (fleetside) tailgate widths range from 61" - 67" and accommodate either the LH2000 or LH3000.

Mid-Size (fleetside) tailgate widths range from 52" - 57" and accommodate the LH2000M.

Step-Side (flair-side or non-fleetside) tailgate widths range 44" - 52" and accommodate only the LH2000M.
Both Full-Size and Mid-Size step-sides take the LH2000M.  Some, but not all, F-150 Super Crews, 2008 and older, (the 2009 and newer Super Crews have regular full-size tailgates) take the LH2000M because of a tapered tailgate of 52". For Mid-Size step-sides (Ford Ranger, Chevy S-10, etc.), dragsheet widths need to be trimmed 4"-5" inches in order to fit the narrow tailgates.

Best model for 1/2-ton trucks. Also recommended for light-duty on 3/4- and 1-ton trucks. Does not fit some 2008 and older F-150 Super Crews.  Please measure width of your Super Crew tailgate to be sure.  61" - 67" wide is full-size and 52" - 57" is mid-size.

EXCEPTIONS: The new "extra-wide" brackets have arrived!  The new brackets are designed to fit any new 1/2-ton (extra-wide brackets are not necessary for 3/4-ton and 1-ton trucks) with an extra-wide tailgate and/or an extra-wide tailgate cap.  The new brackets open to maximum 6 inches wide; our regular brackets open to 3.5 inches maximum.  Following are full-size trucks that "probably" need the extra-wide bracketing: 2008 & newer Chevy/GMC 1500 (Silverado & Sierra), 2008 & newer Dodge Ram 1500, and "some" 2009 & newer Ford F-150s (not all new F-150s have wide tailgates).  Newer model truck owners should measure their own tailgate widths, on the far-right and far-left sides of the tailgate, or tailgate cap, where the Loadhandler unit attaches.  If wider than 3.5", then the new wide brackets are needed.  The extra-wide brackets are special order only. The extra-wide brackets are free to customers with new Loadhandlers and $15 + $8 shipping and handling (continental U.S. for $8 shipping) for customers with used Loadhandlers.

The LH3000 is the most suitable Loadhandler for trailer and flat-bed application, although modification by consumer may be required.

LH3000 $169.95

The LH3000 fits any Full-Size pickup (excluding step-sides and Toyota T-100 & Tundra 2006 & older), and is especially suited for 3/4-ton and 1-ton pickups.  Perfect for commercial applications.  Also frequently adapted for use on trailer, but modifications by consumer may be required. 

The LH3000 works the same as the LH2000 but is substantially "beefier" with steel brackets and buckles, factory-installed sealed ball-bearings, a heavy-duty "drive-dog" housing for handle insertion, and solid-steel ends on the Roller Bar.  The dragsheet is the same ripstop Polypropylene weave as on the LH2000, but 2 inches wider.

Important: If your pickup bed is rusty, or has a non-slip spray-in liner, you must have the DOUBL-MAT® (or similar slip-liner) in order to use the Loadhandler®. If your pickup bed is in good shape or you have a plastic liner, you do not need the DOUBL-MAT® in order to use the Loadhandler® (but may still want to use one).
